Diane has lived in Santa Barbara since 1966.

Diane and her husband, Ralph, a successful landscape artist, have owned the Waterhouse Gallery in La Arcada for 29 years.

Her late father, Joe Makray, was a noted portrait painter whose paintings still hang in local landmarks such as Harry’s Plaza CafĂ©.

Diane has served on the board of the Santa Barbara Beautiful, the Downtown Organization, The Santa Barbara Historical Museum and is on the Women’s Board at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. She is coordinator for the Central Coast Chapter of the California Art Club.

Diane loves to give newcomers guided tours of the of the city. She is proud to be associated with Sotheby’s International Realty.

She is crazy about German Shepherds.

I moved to Santa Barbara in 1966 and was educated here.
For the last twenty nine years, my husband Ralph, a successful landscape artist, and I have owned and operated the Waterhouse Gallery in La Arcada at State and Figueroa street.

My late father, Joe Makray, was a noted portrait painter whose paintings still hang at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.

I have an 18 year-old daughter who is a Senior at Santa Barbara High School.
I love cats & German Shepherds!.

I have been following Santa Barbara real estate for the last 20 years and know the city extremely well.

I am currently on the Women’s Board at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.

I served on the board member of Santa Barbara Beautiful and Santa Barbara Historical Museum for many years. I am currently events coordinator for the Central Coast Chapter of the California Art Club.

I was previously on the Executive Board of the Downtown Organization serving as Secretary, Director of Promotions and Treasurer.
